John Samberg is a Reno-based partner in the litigation department of Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin LLP.  Mr. Samberg enjoys a diverse practice in the areas of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Business Transactions & Corporate Law, Community Associations Law, and Real Estate Law departments. John is an AV-rated attorney and is admitted to practice in Nevada and California. John handles cases in Nevada and California from each of the firm’s three offices. In over thirty-five years of civil practice, John has handled a broad variety of matters, including commercial, construction, and bankruptcy litigation, real estate disputes, creditor’s rights, and major injury/wrongful death cases in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts across the country. As a life-long rider, John has an interest in motorcycle injury cases and is a member of the national chapter of the Order of Barristers, and upon graduation from law school with magna cum laude honors, was presented with the ABOTA Award for Excellence in Preparation for Trial Practice of the Law. John has lectured at continuing legal education seminars for national CLE groups such as NBI and Lorman and has provided industry-specific seminars for the Credit Management Association and the National Association of Credit Management. Before entering the practice of law, John worked as a private detective.
