PARTNER MATTHEW OSTER PARTICIPATES IN THE 2021 LOS ANGELES TIMES CALIFORNIA ECONOMIC FORECAST AND PREDICTIONS ROUNDTABLE

Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP Partner, Matthew Oster, was among the notable experts from the Southern California business community whose insights and predictions were included in the January 25, 2021 Los Angeles Times virtual panel discussion on economic trends and headlines likely to shape and impact the business landscape in California in 2021.

When asked what advice he would give his clients for the coming year, Mr. Oster replied:

“I believe that flexibility will continue to be the watchword in 2021. Although we are hopeful that the current lockdowns will ease by spring, that outcome is far from guaranteed and current restrictive conditions could persist. At the same time, it is possible vaccination campaigns will become wildly successful and the economy will come roaring back to life. Either way, businesses that have maintained flexibility (by, among other things, retaining talent, reserving cash, avoiding obligations etc.) will be best poised to weather difficult times and capitalize on opportunities that may arise.”
