Jordan J. Butler, a partner in the Las Vegas office at Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP, recently obtained a P-1 Visa on behalf of Judit Castillo, a professional pickleball player from Spain. The P-1 visa is issued to international athletes, like Castillo, who have demonstrated sustained national or international acclaim in their field. Following a successful Division I college tennis career, Ms. Castillo quickly showed promise in professional pickleball, and in less than a year has entrenched herself among the burgeoning sport’s best players.

Ms. Castillo, who competes on the PPA and APP professional pickleball tours, respectively, recently won Silver at the U.S. Open in Women’s Pro Singles, and has been selected to play in Major League Pickleball for the D.C. Pickleball Team.
