Kelly A. Weil

Ms. Weil is a partner with Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP and a member of the community association and real estate law departments. She has significant experience in representing homeowner associations and other clients in all types of transactional matters. Ms. Weil is an accomplished writer on the extensive topics affecting homeowner associations.





Areas of Practice

Community Association Law

  • Drafting new CC&Rs, Bylaws and association Rules and Regulations

  • Writing amendments to governing documents

  • Interpreting and enforcing governing documents, as well as relevant State and Federal laws relating to common interest developments

  • Negotiating vendor agreements, including property management agreements, security agreements, architectural and engineering agreements

  • Representing clients in all types of construction and service contracts

  • Counseling boards of directors in all facets of management and operation, including maintenance and repair obligations, conduct for elections, and required meetings and other corporate issues

Real Estate Law

  • Reviewing existing and creating new construction contracts on behalf of owners and contractors

  • Assisting with negotiations and enforcement of construction contracts

  • Drafting, negotiating and enforcing residential and commercial lease agreements on behalf of landlords and tenants

  • Advising sellers and buyers in the sale and acquisition of residential or commercial property
