Luke Lieberman is a partner at Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP, where he practices entertainment and intellectual property law.  Luke draws on extensive entertainment industry experience to provide counsel to studios, producers, and distributors as well as helping individual writers and directors navigate Hollywood and control their own destinies.

Luke has handled development, IP acquisition and chain of title review for studios and production companies such as The Weinstein Company, Cross Creek Pictures, Endemol, and Miramax, as well as distribution and financing for independent distributors.  He has managed production legal on television series such as ScreamThe Young PopeSpy Kids TV, and Kingdom, and feature films such as EverestMax Steel, and Polaroid.  He has represented countless screenwriters, authors, publishers and producers in connection with licensing, sale and/or exploitation of their creative works.

Beyond the practice of law, Luke has extensive experience in content development, production and post-production.  He co-created the New York Times best-selling Alliances Universe with the legendary Stan Lee and Academy Award winner Ryan Silbert, premiering the first two titles, A Trick of Light and A New Reality as Audible Originals.  As the proprietor of the Red Sonja comic book franchise, Luke has licensed the character to media buyers and merchandisers, overseen an extensive publishing line under the title, and protected rights to the character in federal court. They also give him a practical understanding of how to maximize the value and control that creators, and other IP owners, enjoy in connection with their works and creative assets.
