Nicholas Merkin is an associate in the litigation department of Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP. Mr. Merkin’s practice concentrates on business litigation, as well as community associations and corporate insolvency matters.
Areas of Practice
Business Litigation
- Commercial and real estate disputes in State, Federal and Bankruptcy Courts, including unlawful detainer matters and prosecution of multi-party construction defect cases
- Commercial and entertainment labor issues, including defense of actions for untimely payment of wages to both discharged employees and resigning employees and payments to employees returned for insufficient funds
- Defense of discriminatory discharge of an employee through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
